European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Amper Programas, a company of the Spanish multinational Amper Group, has announced the application of a redundancy procedure affecting 86 employees (34% of its entire workforce). Specializing in the manufacturing of computers and other information processing equipment for defense activities, the company links also the measure with the budgetary cuts in the Ministry of Defense. Additionally, the members of the working committee argue that the company could be in a better position if the merger with the group Thales would have been accomplished.
