Description
The newspaper Dagens Nyheter (DN) is to cut 80 jobs in Stockholm. The restructuring is due to a loss of 97 million SEK last year and will mainly affect the editorial staff.
As part of the redundancy package, employees will be offered a severance pay amounting to three months' salary.
The magazine currently has 580 employees, of which approximately 290 are part of the editorial staff. An earlier restructuring announcement at Dagens Nyheter is covered in fact sheet 15053.
As of March 2013, there is no information about when the employment adjustments will start taking effect or when they will be implemented by.
