Description

Southampton City Council has announced plans to cut 243 full-time jobs.

The job losses are part of wider cost-cutting measures aimed at making 16m pound savings in 2013/14.  Total cuts amount to almost 5% of the council's budget while council tax will increase by 1.9%.
