On 17 January 2013, British global retailer Tesco announced its plans to create 110 jobs in Łomża in March 2013. Tesco will open a new store at this location. The company has started recruiting in January 2013.
Tesco has been operating in Poland since 1992 and currently owns over 400 stores in the country and employs nearly 30,000 people.
