Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 22 February 2013 British global retailer Tesco announced plans to hire 160 drivers. The recruitment is associated with the development of an e-commerce platform in Poland (mainly in urban centers).
Currently, the company employs over 500 e-commerce staff across the country.
Tesco has been operating in Poland since 1992 and currently operates over 450 stores in the country and employs nearly 30,000 people.

Updated, 22/05/2013, Tesco announced it plans to create 2,000 jobs in 2013. 1,000 staff will work for the online sales segment. The company plans to open e-commerce platforms in next 8 cities. Other 1,000 jobs will be created at the new units that will be launched across Poland in 2013.
