The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Construction company Cestno podjetje Ljubljana (CPL) has entered a bankruptcy procedure affecting approximately 250 people.
The bankruptcy can be seen in the context of many Slovenian construction companies filing for bankruptcies in the last months.
For quite some time, the company has not been able to serve his liabilities and, recently, it also lost the state concession for maintaining roads. Due to the fact that the company was not paying wages, the workforce has already been substantially reduced from 400 in August 2012.
All remaining employees will lose their job.
