Description
Polish insurance company PZU announced a restructuring programme leading to 630 redundancies. The restructuring programme will affect over 3,000 employees, as the company will change conditions of employment for over 2,500 people in addition to the announced redundancies.
Currently, PZU negotiates with the local trade unions about the conditions of the programme.
The new dismissals are the third round of a large restructuring programme within the PZU group, which has been implemented since 2010 (see here and here). The programme aims at centralizing the administrative activities and reducing costs.
