Description
Trioplast, plastic packaging and hygiene film manufacturer, is to let go of 60 employees in Smålandsstenar due to investments in automation and new production equipment. The two production sites with 320 employees will be merged as a part of the restructuring. 90 employees will be made redundant at one of the sites, but relocation will be offered to 30.
Trioplast is a subsidiary of Swedish industry group Trioplast Industrier with 1,300 employees.
As of January 2013, there is no information about when the employment adjustments will start taking effect or when they will be implemented by.
