Description

Daimler Trucks, part of the German Daimler group, is cutting 2,100 jobs globally. This will include a reduction of 800 jobs in Germany and 1,300 production jobs in North America.

Daimler Trucks is wrapping up some long-term projects in Germany, leading to the job loss. The North American cuts follow reduced demand for commercial vehicles.
