Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The American provider of call centre services, Computer Generated Solutions (CGS), announced the intention to hire at least 400 people until the end of 2013 at two centres located at Bucharest and Sibiu.
Currently, the company has 2,500 employees in Romania, of which 1,200 at Brasov and 1,300 at Bucharest and Sibiu. The company has continuously expanded in Romania over the last couple of years, see here, here and here.
