Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

WAZ Group, the German newspaper and media group Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung, announced to cut 120 jobs at its subsidiary Westfälische Rundschau (WR).
The Ruhr region and Westfalia-based WR is the only WAZ newspaper not making profits as it struggles with regional competitors. The job cuts, which will start in 2013, will affect journalists and administrative staff. A clear time line of the restructuring is not yet given.
WR-stakeholders and the trade union stage protests.
