Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

On 14 January 2013, chip producer NXP announced that it will cut 150 jobs in the Netherlands, as part of a worldwide restructuring operation involving 700 to 900 jobs.
There will be no cuts at the Dutch R&D division. While forced dismissals are not ruled out, NXP is negotiating a social plan with the central works council.
