European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Telecoms and technology group Colt has announced that it is to cut more than 200 jobs. The restructuring is part of a larger business restructuring plan, where the company aims to focus on areas of growth, e.g. data centres.
The company blamed the bad economic situation in Europe for its move.
