European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German manufacturer of consumer electronics Loewe will cut 190 jobs. This is mainly due to decreased demand in the European market for consumer electronics.
In total, Loewe employs 1,000 people. Additional measures of restructuring include the lowering of wages, which shall be negotiated with the trade unions.
