Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 7 December 2012, Samsung Electronics announced plans to create 150 jobs at the new Research and Development centre located in Łódź.
The company has recently opened the centre and it is expected to be operational at the beginning of 2013. The firm is looking for engineers to develop digital TV and mobile technologies.
Samsung Electronics was founded in 1969 and is the largest member of the Samsung group. Currently, the company employs over 208,000 people in 58 countries.
