Description
The Ministry of Treasury urged the national TV company, TVP (Polish Public Television), to implement a restructuring programme in order to reduce its costs and improve its finances. According to the restructuring programme, between 200 and 300 jobs are expected to be cut in 2013.
In October 2012 Juliusz Braun, director of TVP, revealed the financial loss of the company in 2012 may be higher than 60 mln PLN. TVP is applying for 70 mln PLN loan, in addition to plans to sell a property in Warsaw.
