Description

The construction company Stavbenik, based in Koper in the Obalno-Kraška region, has initiated the bankruptcy procedure, with 100 consequent job losses.

The reason is the heavy crisis that has hit the construction sector in Slovenia. The company’s insolvency is directly linked to the bankruptcy of another construction company, Primorje, the former majority stakeholder of Satvbenik and the investment in apartments which they are not able to sell.
