European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 26 October 2011, les Coopérateurs de Normandie, a supermarket chain, announced to its Works Council the redundancy plan by which 304 employees will be dismissed.
The company intends to reduce the workforce of its discount chain Le Mutant and of its storage unit and headquarter (82 positions), both located in Le Grand-Quevilly (Seine-Martime). The group cut 230 positions in 2011 (see here).
