Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 30 October, the management of GE Energy (formerly Converteam) announced plans to recruit 150 employees between mid-2013 and the end of 2014.
The plant in Champigneulles manufactures industrial electric motors, mainly for the commercial navy. According to the management, the recruitment will be gradual and it will be assisted by the French Public employment service Pôle Emploi, recruitment agencies and local training centres.
