Description
Invensys, a global technology group operating with three business divisions (operations management, rail and controls), is to close its plant located in Belluno, with the consequent loss of 166 jobs.
According to reports, the production of electronic controls for household appliances will be moved to Croatia. The “mobility” procedure will start in August 2013, after the end of the Wage Guarantee Fund scheme. The regional government has criticized the decision and reminded the management of their obligation to protect the redundant workers.
