European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Delphi Slovensko, a subsidiary of American Delphi Company in Senica, will dismiss 85 out of 700 employees by the end of 2012.
The company produces wire harnesses for the automotive industry. The redundancies are attributed to a decline in orders from Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. According to Ján Kovár, from the local employment office, the next round of dismissals is expected in 2014.
