On 11 October 2012 the regional government of Zuid Holland announced it will cut 180 jobs in the coming years with the aim of reducing costs.
According to the union AbvaKabo the reduction will affect up to 250 employees. This was denied by a spokesperson of the regional government, who also expects that there will be no or very few forced dismissals.
