Logica, a technology services firm, has announced that it is to cut between 350- 400 jobs in Sweden. According to Logica Sweden CEO Björn Ivroth, the restructuring is necessary as a result of the uncertainty of the economic outlook. This announcement follows earlier restructuring this year, when 280 people were forced to quit the company (please see here).
Logica has approximately 5,150 employees in Sweden. In August 2012, Anglo-Dutch Logica was acquired by Canadian CGI (short for Conseillers en Gestion et Informatique).
As of October 2012 there is no information on when the job losses will be implemented by.
