Description

In August 2012, Miejski Zakład Usług Komunalnych in Wałbrzych (the Wałbrzych Municipal Service Company) announced plans to implement a collective dismissals programme, which will result in the loss of over 180 jobs by the end of 2012. The dismissals will affect drivers, mechanics and ticket inspectors.

Miejski Zakład Usług Komunalnych has provided transport services since 2011, when Miejskie Przedsięciorstwo Komunikacyjne (the Municipal Transport Company) filed for bankruptcy. Since then, the City of Wałbrzych has been looking for a new provider for their public transport services.
