Description
The international high-technology group Safran, specialized in aerospace, defense and security, announced its intention to recruit 3,000 employees in France in 2013. Safran will recruit a further 3,000 employees in Europe (see here). About 75% of the recruitments will be engineers and managers for research and development.
It is reported that the union CFDT supports Safrans’ business expansion, but also underlines that these recruitments are being made in the context of increased departures by retirement. The group has not given information on the number of retirements in 2013.
