Description
French utilities group EDF announced its intention to recruit 6,000 employees by the end of 2013. This includes 2,000 job creations, while an additional 4,000 recruitments are made to compensate for natural attrition through retirement. It is reported that one third of the current employees will retire in the next four years.
The recruitment will include jobs for over 1,700 managers and engineers. The group has recruited 6,000 employees in 2011 and the same number in 2012.
The EDF group employs 156,168 people worldwide.
