Description
Elitex slévárna, a Czech foundry located in Týniště nad Orlicí, is to close and all 113 workers will be dismissed by the end of 2012. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2009.
The site lies on the border of Rychnov and Hradec district, where the unemployment rate in August 2012 was 5.9% and 7% respectively. However, it is reported that the workers might face difficulties getting a new job in the foundry industry.
