Description
Intesa Sanpaolo, the Italian banking institute, is to cut 1,000 jobs by the end of June 2013.
The reorganisation plans announced earlier by the bank assumed the downsizing. The bank has planned meetings with the trade unions representatives in the next months in order to negotiate the measures aimed at reducing the social and economic negative effects for the dismissed workers.
In Italy the Intesa Sanpaolo group has around 68,000 employees.
