Nokia Siemens Networks, a manufacturer of communications network equipment, has announced cuts of up to 400 employees from its Finnish operations. The company is starting negotiations with employee representatives on the cuts, which are to be carried out without dismissals.
Nokia Siemens Networks will be offering support packages for those willing to leave voluntarily. In March 2012, the company laid off over 600 employees while other left voluntarily. The details of the support package will be subject to negotiations.
