Description
On 1 September, the Slovak-Italian textile company Slotex Fashion in Vranov nad Toplou was closed and all of its 180 employees are to be dismissed. In August the workers received notices including two-months redundancy payment.
According to the trade unions representatives, the management did not pay wages to workers from June to August and failed to provide the statutory redundancy payment. The company management did not consult the employees representatives about the collective dismissal.
