Getinge Disinfection, manufacture of medical sterilisation equipment, has announced that it is to cut 40 jobs in Växjö.
The reason for the decision is a decline in orders which has forced the company to outsource the production of mechanical parts to other companies.
Getinge Disinfection currently has 256 employees. The company operates as a subsidiary of Getinge AB.
As of September 2012 it is not yet known when the measure will be implemented.
