Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
American investment bank Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) announced plans to hire 200 to 300 people at the new centre in Kraków by the middle of 2014. The company is looking mainly for economists and IT specialists.
This is the fifth centre of BBH in Europe. It was opened in March 2012 and will provide financial services and investment management for individuals and institutions. Michael McDonald, the director of BBH in Poland, informed that the unit will be strongly linked with other units in the world.
BBH was founded in 1818. The company has 17 units around the world and employs about 5,000 people.
