Description
The construction company Mostostal Warszawa announced plans to dismiss 410 to 450 workers. Redundancies are expected to be implemented by the end of January 2013.
The restructuring is reported to be due to a shrinking order book and the general deteriorating situation of the construction sector in Poland.
The company has signed a bilateral agreement with the local trade unions setting out the conditions of the collective dismissal programme. Redundant workers will receive a severance pay and additional financial benefits. Moreover, the company is to implement an outplacement programme for the redundant workers.
