European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Garant, a furniture manufacturer from Polzela in the Savinjska region, has entered the bankruptcy procedure. All 117 employees will be made redundant by the end of August 2012.
The company is no longer able to pay its credit liabilities and it is reported that the owners are not willing to put in additional capital to settle these liabilities.
