German steel supplier Klöckner & Co has announced to cut 200 jobs in Germany. The management stated that decreasing demand and a difficult economic outlook made this measure unavoidable.

The planned job cuts in Germany are part of a Europe-wide restructuring plan affecting 1,300 jobs in Spain, France and Eastern Europe.
