Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The manufacturer of solid fuel heating systems Kalvis intends to create 30 new jobs in Siauliai in 2012. Currently the company employs 279 people.
The company has been granted the financial support from the EU structural funds under the programme Invest LT-2. The programme finances investment projects aimed at building or reconstruction of industrial sites and introduction of new production facilities.
