European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ikea, an international home products retailer, will open a new store located in Sabadell at the end of 2012 and hire 380 employees. Workers will be recruited for costumer services activities (sale, restaurants, etc.) and logistic activities. Recruitment has commenced and new employees will soon start their respective training courses.
It is reported that the company has received 55,252 resumes to fill the 380 jobs at the store.
