Description
Almont, a Slovenian producer of construction elements of aluminum, has entered administration and as a result 104 employees will lose their jobs at the company's site in Slovenska Bistrica in the Podravska. The reductions are to be completed in July.
The company experienced financial problems due to the crisis that has hit harshly the Slovenian construction sector. Slovenian construction companies, which are Almont's main customers, owe substantial amounts of money to Almont. As a consequence, Almont itself is not able to honour its financial obligations.
