Description
German sausage manufacturer Nölke will cut 100 jobs until the end of 2012. Nölke produces poultry sausage products under the name Gutfried.
The restructuring is reported to be due to increased costs. Higher commodity prices and low acceptance for price increases has led to losses in 2011.
The restructuring programme aims to cut the workforce by about 10 percent. Currently, Nölke employs 1,100 people. There will be no forced redundancies.
