Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
As announced on 9 June 2012, German TÜV Nord will cut 300 jobs in its training section TÜV Nord Bildung. This is due to decreasing demand.
TÜV Nord Bildung faces reduced spendings for training of the unemployed since the federal government announced a review of further education measures. In total, the section employs 1,300 people, 300 jobs had been cut previously.
