Siemens, a German electrical engineering company, will create 200 new jobs by the end of 2012 at its new production hall in the city of Mohelnice where the company started producing electrical motors.
Siemens already employs almost 2,200 people at the Mohelnice site where it produces low-voltage asynchronous motors. Across the Czech Republic, the company employs a total of 10,500 people. The planned job creation is favourable for the region where the unemployment rate reached 12 % in April 2012.
