Description
Coca Cola announced restructuring program that will lead to reduction of between 400 and 500 men-years by May 2013 in its Norwegian site in Lørenskog. The company is to invest in new production equipment to replace the current reusable bottles with recycling bottles. The restructuring will begin in summer 2012 and the accompanying reductions are planned to start in October 2012.
Coca Cola declares it makes effort to find new jobs for the dismissed workers, both in new parts of the group and in the food chain. According to the company representatives, many of the reduced employees will be offered jobs in the new recycling facilities.
