Description
In mid April Peterson Paper Moss AS announced bankruptcy and 260 employees at its Moss plant are to be dismissed with immediate effect. Over the last years the company had substantial financial deficits and despite the efforts it did not manage to recover.
100 employees of another Peterson Paper plant in Ranheim were also at risk of losing their job once the company filed for bankruptcy. Eventually, the jobs in Ranheim will be saved after Peterson Packaging bought the plant. The acquisition is effective immediately, and the factory is to be included as an integral part of Peterson Packaging AS.
