Description

Construction firm UBC Group has closed due to insolvency with the loss of 240 jobs. Jobs were lost in Inverness (100), the Western Isles (90), Bathgate (45) and Glasgow (5).

Some 30 jobs could be saved in Inverness through a management buy-out concerning Wyvis Roofing, one part of the business.
