Youngs seafood has announced that it is to close its factory in Norfolk producing Cromer crab and other prawn and lobster products. The closure, which is due to take place before August, will result in the loss of 109 jobs. The company said that the decision was made after 8 months of consultation.
The work from the factory will move to its plant in Grimsby where the company plans to create 321 new posts (see related fact sheet).
