European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 9 May 2012, the Polish branch of a French bank BNP Paribas announced plans to cut up to 410 jobs by the end of June 2013.
It is reported that the cuts aim at increasing operational efficiency and improving financial results of the bank.
BNP Paribas currently employs 2984 people in 221 units across Poland.
