The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
BT has announced plans to create 400 engineering jobs.
BTOpenreach said that it anticipated that most new recruits would be ex-armed forces personnel.
The company has recruited almost 1,700 new engineers since March 2011 taking the total now employed to over 3,500.
The timeline for the expansion plans is not yet available.
