Description
Birkby's Plastics, a Yorkshire based supplier of automotive parts, will be shut down making more than 370 staff redundant. Birkby's was placed into administration on 3 April 2012.
The company's administrators have failed to find a buyer for the business which has been operating at a loss for the last few years. Although interest was expressed by potential buyers, none of the offers was acceptable.
The timeline for the restructuring is yet to be announced.
