European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ON Semiconductor, an American semiconductor producer, has opened a new development centre at its Czech subsidiary located in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, creating 100 job places.
The centre focuses on energy efficient solutions for power supply control for consumer electronics, telecommunications, wireless applications and applications for LED lightings.
The US company has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1999 and currently employs about 1,400 people at two sites. The company owns also a designer centre in Brno, where it employs 100 people.
