European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 20 April, Sovab, a subsidiary of car manufacturer Renault, announced to reduce its production from 500 to 422 vehicles on the 16 April. It had already decreased the production by the end of December 2011.
To make face to this decrease, the management cut 313 temporary contracts on a total of 440 by the end of April.
